Dewi Kreckman when she was 5 years old with her mom and her uncle, in Indonesia year 1983.

Being born in poor family, Dewi started her first business in college with only USD 3.5 (IDR 50.000) given by her uncle as initial capital.

Dewi collected used bottles, used papers, dry leaves, etc as raw material to create recycle crafts and sold them door to door.

Then Dewi empowered women in local village and prison to produce high quality crafts for local and international market.

After years of hard and smart work, Dewi and DE TANJUNG received several national and international recognitions:

– Income award (2007)
– New Ventures Indonesia award (2009)
– Wirausaha Muda Mandiri award (2010)
– 10.000 Women Goldman Sach fellowship (2011)
– Finalist of E Idea – British Council (2012)
– Indonesia YWN 50 Creative Tourism Ambassador (2012)
– International Young Creative Enterpreneur award (2012)
– Young Caring Professional Award (2013)
– Surabaya Marketeer of The Year (2015)

Special recognition:
Dewi was invited by Prince of Wales and British Government to give presentation about her project: “Entrepreneurship With Social Impact” in London, year 2013

In December 2018, Dewi moved to USA to start a new chapter of adventure in her life.

In September 2020, Dewi and Eric started to build a telemedicine specializing in immigrant care: DECUREMED.

Dewi believes her past doesn’t define her future.
